Together We Can

In October 2012 Jill Stott from Girlguiding Caernarfonshire (with husband Peter and 3 guiding friends) will be volunteering in ‘Deep Griha’ - a society set up by one woman in 1975 to improve the lives of families living in the slums of Pune, India.

You can Make a Difference by helping them to achieve their aim “to leave something behind that will make a difference to their future” with your unit. See the flyer for more information about how to get involved in this fantastic project!

Funds raised will be used to equip a workshop with woodworking tools, sewing machines and other craft equipment and to purchase materials for training purposes. Visit www.deepgriha.org to find out more about the Deep Griha society.
